Dockable Windows

Postby 0Neji » Thu Jun 06, 2013 4:50 am

New to Protoshare so not sure if I've just missed this but it'd be great to be able to dock windows (such as the Inspector and Palette) into the sidebars around the work area. Would just ease my workflow by not covering anything up.

Thanks for your request.

The floating windows are indeed unable to be docked, but they are draggable so you can place them on top of the sidebars. We have considered adding the option to dock floating windows, so it may be something that is added in a future release.

What I will usually do is put my palette and inspector on top of the sidebars and minimize the floating windows if I need access to the sidebars.

Please let us know if you have any questions or additional requests.

I would love to be able to dock the floating pallets to either side.

Also, the headers on the pallets, for Example the Appearance section of the inspector, it would be nice if these sections could be collapsed, expanded by clicking anywhere in the header bar of that section, not just the tiny arrow.
