Re-Size an Image

Postby Parag » Sun Apr 17, 2011 12:48 pm

Just started using Protoshare and am in the process of working on my first site. My question is how do I resize an image so that it maintains its aspect ratio i.e. height and width. In any other graphic or word processing program, you just hold down the shift key while dragging a corner of the image and the height vs width ratio is maintained, or you just lock the aspect ratio in the image properties and then change either value and the other will change proportionally.

I can't seem to find a way to do it here, so I am ending up with images which have lost their original proportions. Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks

You can do this in ProtoShare. What you want to do is turn auto height and width off and set stretch to fill to on. Then, click on one of the corner resize handles for the image and then hold the shift key. This will constrain the image to the size proportions.
