Button Javascript

Postby trisys » Sat Jan 31, 2015 11:50 am

I wrote some custom JS code as a Advanced HTML snippet.
I want to call my javascript functions from a button, but when I add javascript:myfunction() to the OnClick - Link property, your tool prepends http:// to my javascript e.g. http://javascript:myfunction() which of course fails in test.
Is there a way around this, or do I need to create custom buttons in my own advanced HTML?

Kind Regards, Garry.

Hi Garry,

The button components do not currently have any javascript properties. The only functions that a button has are stateful (changing a state's current value), linking to pages, or linking to specific components on a design (anchor links). You would need to build out a custom button within an Advanced HTML component.

We haven't had any requests to add any functionality like this, so I'll pass it along to our developers.
