Edit a Clipping

Postby Molly77 » Tue Jun 16, 2009 8:11 am

I love this tool, but am having trouble with using clippings. The video tutorial mentions that you can edit clippings in a page after you paste them there, but it doesn't say how to! When I click on any element in the clipping (I am making a form) the whole clipping becomes highlighted and the individual components do not seem editable. Thanks for your help!

Molly,

We're glad to hear that you're enjoying ProtoShare.

By default, clippings are pasted into a wireframe as a group. You'll need to either ungroup them or have the group "exploded" so each item is individually selectable. The buttons shown here allow for both of those options.

For those on ProtoShare 5, the term clippings is analogous with masters.
