Account Export

Postby cconlin » Mon Oct 26, 2009 12:50 pm

So far, Protoshare has been great. I don't imagine I'll be closing my account anytime in the foreseeable future. But if I were to close my account, how would I get my data out?

Do I have to export everything as Word and thus lose some information along the way?

Are there any plans for a completely autonomous export?

There is no built-in way to export a site beyond that of the document export; However, it may be possible to use 3rd party tools such as DeepVacuum on the Mac to grab your pages. Please see the following post for more information: export my files as a skeleton site?

UPDATE: with version 3.6 being released December 12, 2009, Professional edition or higher users will be able to export your files to an HTML archive.
