Re: Stylesheets not working?

Hi, Paula. Most items can be accessed with just the class or id you set in the properties for a component. If a setting doesn't work, the first thing to try is to add .protoshare-body to the CSS rule. For example if you had: .roundbox { -moz-border-radius: 0.5em; } and it wasn't working, try: .proto...

Re: Suggestion: Annotation/Discussion functions for templates

We are looking at issues like this right now. If you had annotations attached to a Template, would those annotations show up on every layout that uses that Template, or do you see a special area for commenting on Templates only? Is it necessary to know that an annotation/discussion is attached to a ...

Re: How do you use states to create an image carousel?

Hi, I've put together a quick movie on how to use states to create an image carousel. We'll have a better version of this in a few weeks, but this should help get you going. It's about 10 minutes long and shows how to create a slideshow and then an image carousel. This was just thrown together at my...

Re: Modules Not Showing During State Selection

Thanks for the feedback. We will look at making the state duplication an option. We thought that it would be more common to want duplicate states than not. It can be tricky to figure out how to add options like this without cluttering/confusing the interface.

Re: Making a window expand to show more underlying content

The way to do this with states would be to have state 1 have the abbreviated content and state 2 would be a copy of the content (Rich Text, I'm assuming), but expanded. So you need two components to do this. If you have content below the expanding content that needs to push out of the way, you will ...

Re: New v3.0 Autosaves crippling the performance

Engineering discovered an issue with autosave where unnecessary actions were being performed. They did a patch this afternoon that should speed things up. To make sure you have this patch applied, please clear your web cache by going to Tools > Clear Recent History... > Web Cache. Then do a SHIFT+Re...

Re: cancel account before 30 day term expires

Another thing to note is you will only see the Billing option under Account if your role is Billing Manager. If you are not a Billing Manager, you can look up who is by clicking the People tab on your dashboard and ask them to sign-in and cancel the account.

Re: Frequency of Backup at Protoshare

ProtoShare's database servers are backed up nightly, so the worst loss in advent of a crash would be a day's work. Probably less.

Re: Rich Text Editing Not Working

That sounds like stale Javascript to me. In Firefox, try doing Tools > Clear Recent History... > Web Cache. Then reload the editor and see if that fixes the problem. I haven't seen that error reported by anyone else today, so I think it is a cache issue. If not, let me know and I'll keep researching...
